Salem (MA): Due to the diligence and commitment to excellence of the Salem's City Park staff, a dangerous preternatural prank was discovered and averted.  After a conclusion of an Equal Rights Rally sponsored by Salem Community College and several local business, a charm was discovered beneath one of the benches in the park. Upon further examination it was determined to be a spell designed to induce bad luck, such as falls, small injuries, etc.. Authorities believe the spell was not target specific but a general area spell designed to affect anyone within its radius. The maker of the charm is not known, but police encourage anyone with the knowledge or clues about the whereabouts of a person or person's responsible for the prank, to call 555-3599.
