Keely sliced out her own peice of the house where she could rest her head at night and be safe with her new family. She had gone shopping with Solana to pick out some things so that it would fit the personality of Keely and would look like a home. You could live in a house for ages, but you couldn't be happy until it is considered a home. That was Keely's thinking any how.
A plush down comforter and down pillows made the bed look luxurious and inviting. She had grown up with expensive taste for only the best. Her family had always been on the better half of the socio-economic status spectrum. Her delicate digits grazed the bedding to feel it as if she could crawl in at that moment. Across from the bed was her large vanity with all the girly things that anyone could possibly think up. Her hair things, makeup things, and so on. Nothing out of the ordinary for Keely. She sat at the vanity and brushed her hair for a moment, which just a moment of this task was rare. Keely blew a kiss to herself, her own little way of complimenting herself. She thought everyone should tell themselves that they are beautiful daily. Makes for happier people. Her lips curved into a smile as she layered on her pink gloss. A pop noise echoed as she smacked her lips together to get the perfect coverage.
She raised from her seat at her vanity and figured it was about time to have fun with taking her own tour of the house. How else was she supposed to get familiar with the place? Keely left her door wide open, she didn't much care who went in and out of there. It didn't matter. Not even with her biological siblings did she ever lock her door. Careful, silent steps took her down the hallway and around corners. Her eyes were open and observing as she walked, it was rare for her to get lost. She took a moment to sniff to the air, the walls were coated with the different scents of the wolves. Keely couldn't wait to have a chance to meet them all.. who knew when it would happen. But, with the full moon in less than a week she figured it would be then.
Fingers drug along the wall as she walked around and looked at doors. She was sort of in her own little world as she wandered around the house with all the spare time she happened to have.
Kyle steped out of his room, eye pod in one hand while his other was digging through his pockets for something. Nothing came out of them though and it made him sigh. He wasn't aware of anything around him, listening to his ipod did that. He loved music, it was one of his main outlets for everything he felt.
One hand reached up slowly to his ear and he pulls out one of the head phones from his ear as he spots one of the many new wolfs. He hasn't met a single one but hey he might as well start some were right? He stares at her silently for a long moment then approaches her with one hand slowly coming up from his side.
"I'm Kyle." Thats all the greeting he offered to her for the moment. He after all just woke up, he was currently un employed so most the day he just kinda lounged around and listened to music, on occasion he would write his own. But most the time he was just rather lazy.
Keely was in her own little world, minus some sort of Ipod. Those ocean blues looked forward as another pack member was approaching. What was the world's obsession with listening to those things all the time anyhow. She would never understood, Keely would much rather sit outside in the woods and take a listen to what nature had to offer, course by her appearance one would think she were a city girl. Of course, she liked the city, but because of her wolf half, the country and forests was where she found herself most at home.
Those fragile fingers of hers were extended outwards as she grasped his hand in a pleasantry. "Pleasure to meet you, Kyle. I'm Keely." Her bright whites nearly glowed as her glossed lips curved out into a charming smile. She also brushed her cheek against his as a typical pack greeting, she was not about to get in trouble for an sort of disrespect, been there done that in another pack.
"Do you spend a lot of the day around here?" She questioned only because she could forsee herself around the pack house quite a bit. Keely still hadn't found anything to do as a job with in Salem or a different room or place to stay besides the pack house. That was okay for now, she had a hefty sum of money from her trust fund and money from her brother. It was unlikely she would run out of funding anytime soon. Since she was unemployed and maybe he spent his days around here he could tell her what else their was to do.
-Lou came skidding around the corner like hell on wheels, well hell in tube socks which on a slippery wood floor was just as bad as wheels. Her pin thin body collided with Kyle and she nearly dropped the large man, coltish legs bicycling against the floor to get her footing. Those owl wide eyes were looking from Keely to Kyle and back again, a broad grin plastered on her face. Then she heard a noise coming towards them and she made an eep sound and moved behind Keely as though she could hide behind the other girl.-
"Shhhh you didn't see me, I'm not here."
-Hands clutched at Keely's hips and she started to move backwards pulling the girl along as cover, trying to get out of sight before Lyric could find her. Voice was a strident laughing whisper as she added.-
Her attention soon drew to Lou's direction as she had come racing down the hallway, fell at the collision with Kyle and then was gripping at her hips. Keely had a slight smirk upon her lips as she looked at the also new wolf, or so she had already heard about from Solana. Course, hadn't had a chance to meet the lady. Keely accepted the fact that she was now being used as camoflague or cover of some kind, and was completely curious as to why and what this might entail? Was she going to be shot be a water gun, hit with a pillow, what kind of mayhem was happening with in the walls today? It had her mind spinning.
Her eyes sort of looked over her shoulder as she shrugged. "Nice to meet you, I'm Keely." Two new people in one afternoon.. she knew that this was a good idea to roam the halls of the pack house. Those ice blue eyes darted from Kyle and back over her shoulder to Lou. "Uhm, whatcha hiding from?"
-Catching the question Keely asked, which with that awesome hearing and the nose that could smell a pile of burning tires three miles away helped greatly in catching the little minx. Lyric was armed with water pistols. One bright yellow one, that had been stolen from Lou and the other a green one.
"ME!"
Lyric called out as she raced bare foot, green metallic nail polish flashing as she ran, almost crashing into a coffee table on her approach to Lou. A wave, a smile, and Lyric was on the move again, trying to get Lou without getting poor Keely and Kyle wet. Then again Lyric looked like a wet wolf. Daddy's beater had been soaked through, and the white shorts she had on were see through now. Fingers would squeeze at the triggers sending squirts of water at Lou's face when ever it peeked from around Keely. Of course, Lyric being a rather poor shot, would hit Keely and a few times Kyle when she moved around.
What in gods name was Kota doing? Laundry basket in moving from bath room to bath room gathering up all the dirty towels, cloths, wet tube socks from Lola's dive in to the tube She had gone in to town and gotten a dozen different baskets all different colors. A black sharpy had been used to write names on them so everyone in the house had their own. She was making sure that she was keeping the loads all separated. Not everyone lived here 24/7 but with as many people in the house it sure looked like it. Walking out of the bath room with some of her own and Harry's cloths heading for the wash room she ran in to the Kyle, Lou and the new face.
"Oh... hello everyone. "
She was not one of the wolves in the since she slipped her skin every full moon. The scent that clung to her was that of an autumn storm about to fall, fresh tilled soil and a faint hint of old graves or fertile soil. But the only wolf scent to her was that of all the others in the house. By and By she still juggled the basket in order to rub her cheek against Kyle's and Lou's before her violet blues settled fully on Keely.
"Hello sugar, I'm Kota, a new face... now just who would you be and when did you get here?"
And then there was Lyric! Kota dang near jumped out of her skin, who needs a full moon! Hand to her heart. Basket on the floor and free hand reaching out for the song bird!
She attempted to dodge the squirts of water, but somehow she and Lou must have been moving around in opposite ways and ended up getting water spritz. Keely giggled and covered her mouth as Lou was getting most of the attack of water guns. Course, she squealed some as the water hit her own skin. Her sweet melodic laughter broke through as she found the whole situation all the more amusing.
Keely quickly dodged out of the way and nearly ran into Kota as she tried escaping being cover for Lou and to find her own as it seemed everyone the pair of Lou and Lyric met up with was now going to be included in the game... war.. fun. Her eyes widened with a bright smile and greeting.
"Hi Kota. I am Keely.. arrived.. well uhm. Last week or the one before." Her words were spoken quickly and she gave a rub of cheeks before her attention was drawn back to Lyric as Kota had reached out. Keely jumped over the basket and stood watching the action not sure to run while Lyric was going to be distracted by Kota.
Her hand and fingers wrapped around Lou and Kyle's arms.. "Let's go.. " Her words were mouthed in silence as she thought it might be the perfect time to get away for now.
Kyle grins at the hole situation and shifts some after getting squirted. All sorts of happenings were going on, he wasn't use to seeing the house so busy like it is. Course he wasn't around all to often. He rubbed his cheek back against dakota's and grins some. "So hows that old man of yours doing?" He was of course refering to Harry.
When keely took his arm he nodded to her and looked at lou. He never met her before so he offered a smile to her. "Names kyle." He shifts and some and looks to Keely. "So were to?" He said those words rather silently and waited to see.
