Salem had its own way of welcoming newcomers in the town, and last night was surely a night he wouldn't forget. It started at the Bronze Cauldron where Skylar and Monty were welcomed by the tender Tiffany. She was hot, no doubt about it, but something inside the pet rat had tugged curiosity to travel the town on the smooth wheels of his skateboard, with his pet rat Monty by his side. As the night continued on wheels, he stopped in the middle of an alley where a homeless, shadowy figure emerged from the darkness. He mentioned something about weird creatures roaming the town, and he heard where they lived. Taking the address the homeless dude wrote down, Skylar and Monty headed into a world where his kind and others would be united. The open road sped fastly beneath his skateboard while a pair of black and white converse tennis shoes decreased the distance between him and the house. It was surely a damn nice house, better than the beat up van he lived in for so long, yet comfortably. Knowing that it was the wee hours of the morning where perhaps everyone in the house was sleeping, he decided to knock anyways. Calloused hands tugged at the black Element shirt that snugged his muscular top frame; ripples easing where the outline of his muscles buldged slightly from his chest. A pair of ripped up jeans hung from his waist, overlapping the surface where his shoes were impacted in front of the door, and his skateboard leaning up against his leg. Chin-length black curls cascaded down in front of those deep chocolate pools that would survey the exterior of the house before landing on the door once again, patiently waiting. His grey, furry friend, Monty, sat upon his shoulder, digging his claws into the material, and nuzzling his nose against his ear. "Yeah Monty, I'm a bit nervous as well, but the dude said to come here. Maybe he was wrong? I don't know, let's just wait and see what happens."
-The hood of the Chevy was open, and the two male rats were standing over it looking inside with grease covered hands braced on the car. The work was done and the engine looked cherry, all original numbers, this antique was gonna be a beauty once they finished rounding out the body work. Even Knox had promised up down and sideways not to wreck it, though secretly he was curious just how much damage the muscle car could take before it was totalled out. When the sound of rolling wheels came up the driveway Knox leaned to look out around the side of the car and hollared.- "We're back here" -They were working in their shop, set apart from the house where Patsy didn't have to see it. That woman was not a fan of cars, or noise, or messiness in general and she ran the house with an iron fist that even Milo didn't mess with. When Skylar came around and Knox could finally see him his jaw about hit the floor, lips peeled up in a snarl. Skyler had been one of Zallah's men, a loyalist to the crown.- "What the fuck are you doing here you little cunt." -If not for Milo putting one of those meathooks on his shoulder he might have leapt at the other rat and started scrapping right then and there. Thank God for Milo, if they got into the car might've gotten dinged.-
::Aurriana had wondered her sultry self outside. The boys and their toys. One hand rose to brush the line of her face, pushing back the thick golden strands of hair. Bare feet caressed the moist grass, fresh from a light rain. The light play of wind tugging the silk pink night gown that covered her form. The commotion that reached her sensitive ears caused the inner gray New York rat to perk up and dash out to crash against it's mate. Wrapping man and beast in the New York stench of sewers. Aurriana finally reached the men, with Milo holding back Knox from getting to the skateboarder. Shocking blue eyes turned from Knox's angry words, to the other one with a cute rat on his shoulder.
"Knox?"
His name a question, eyes turned to Milo seeking an answer to Knox's anger. The more Aurriana had gotten to know that energetic rat, anger wasn't something Knox did easy. One hand would fall to Knox's chest, trying to sooth him.
"Knox, whatever your upset about it isn't worth it. Your with us."
Aurriana didn't know who the other man was, or why Knox disliked him. This was one of those matters that Milo didn't talk much about, or perhaps it was just a personal grudge that Knox had. Whatever the case, Aurriana didn't want a fight to break out. Didn't think fighting really solved anything, unless it was for dominance or honor.::
:: When he turned around to see Knox, his jaw dropped just as low as the other rat did. And when the words were spoken by the other rat, Skylar lifted his skateboard from his legs into his hands and held it high over his shoulder, watching the rat being held back from meathooks. "Yo Knox, I don't know what you're problem is, but you better chill out dude. I'm not here to start any trouble and you know that, brah." His stance was mighty; skateboard held over the shoulder, legs slightly spread and bent into position when Knox would finally come to him, he'd be ready to hit him over the head with his trusty board, and then there'd be some scrappin going on. In the midst of this commotion, a blonde woman came outside and stood between the two rats, ready to stop what was about to begin; a brawl. A brawl of beating the shit out of each other, rolling around on the ground, getting dirty, scrapping, the whole she-bang. Just like guys would do when they're pissed at each other, and then not even five minutes later, they're friends again. "Look ma'am, I came here to Salem for housing and employment because I read in a magazine that Milo was looking for help at his tattoo shop. And since my name was big with tattoos and skateboarding back home, I figured he might need some help, that is all. Until douche bag over here wanted to scrap for no damn reason." Knox must had it stuck in his head that he was still with Zallah, the queen bitch who ruled the rodere for awhile, and although Sky was one of her rats, didn't mean that he was loyal to her. In fact, he hated her as much as the other rats did. His rat eyes were of cold pebbles; stone, grey, beads of anger, but mostly confusion.:: "I know you have the damn balls Knox, so why don't you come out and say it to my face whatever problem you have with me."
"Don't say a fucking word Knox, just get inside the house with Barbie."
-Milo was pissed, good and solidly pissed the fuck off at the scrapping near this brand new cherry rebuild. If one spot of paint was scratched someone would be wearing one of Patsy's ass hats permanently. Stepping around the vehicle he reached out and snatched Skylars board from his hands, taking it in both meathooks and bringing it down with a crack over his knee. The board splintered in the center and broke in half and Milo tossed both halves aside as power began to boil over, biting along his skin like a nice acid bath. Moving towards the other rat he started to call his beast, to coax the little fucker up to the surface as fast and painfully as possible. Not all the way, but close, Milo would bring him close.-
"First of all, you watch how you talk to my lieutenant you trashy little punk. If anyones gonna be throwing around terms like douche and asshole it's gonna be me. Second, you better get out your knee pads boy cause if you don't give me a reason not to beat the ever loving piss out of you then in five seconds you're gonna need them when you're on your knees with me skull fucking your eye socket. You got me!"
::When Milo stepped outside, by his truck nonetheless, where Skylar and Knox and Barbie stood, Skylar froze in position. He knew Milo was pissed off immediately when he felt is power ride over his inner rat, tugging at him, scraping at him, rising over him like a giant shadow that could haunt a child's dream. His inner rat ran to the corner of the cage, and sat there, shivering with fear. Skylar didn't know what to do, what to say, but only this. He dropped to his knees, groveling, bare hands deep within the dirty ground as they sank into the earth. "Im not worthy! I'm not worthy! I'm scum! I suck! Please Milo!" He begged, that's right, you heard me, BEGGED for forgiveness, whatever he caused to bring such anger upon the rat king. "I swear I mean no harm to you or anyone else! I w-w-was just here cause I read in a magazine that you needed help! But thats all! I swear Milo, thats all!" Yes, punk, no-good, grungy, badass skateboard man was on his hands and knees, crying. Yep, crying. Skylar didn't know anything about the new rodere, but he knew that Milo was still the head hancho, and he's not the rat you want to fuck around with, or even to that matter, piss him off. "I swear! I'll clean your car with a toothbrush! Anything!" But Skylar definitely deserves a thrashing after how he treated Milo's prince. On the other hand, why did Knox have such a grudge against Skylar? Why did he want to scrap him?::
