Ash had almost forgotten about the full moon in all the commotion that had gone on with the case, Shane, the marks, the tigers....yes, it had been a very busy time. So when Silent pulled him aside and reminded him that Mia would be alone for the first time this full moon he felt bad that he hadn't thought of the girl. HIs relationship with Cassandra had been so close, and he had promised to do what he could for the Hindi Hyena. So before he left the house he picked up the phone and dialed the number at Cassandra's old house, hoping that Mia was either still living there or that she had had the same number transferred.

'ello Mia, this is Ash Redfern. I wasn't sure what you'd be doing for the full moon.....Paulie might have talked Milo into letting you run with the Rodere...but I wanted you to know that if you don't have somewhere else to be you're more than welcome to join us. Give me a call back and let someone at the pack house know and we'll clear out a room for you to stay in."
