After a few weeks sitting in her brief bag, Kat pulls out the business card that Liam had given her. She had been playing with the idea in the back of her mind for some time. Since coming back to Salem, actually. Liam's got the venue, she's got the pipes. Thing is, she's not sure that she wants to be out in the public as said Diva again. She misses the preforming though. A few times here and there at open mike nights isn't really cutting it anymore. So, she dug out his card. Dialing the phone number, she waits for it to connect through.
"Voice mail, good." she thinks. "if he doesn't call back, then it wasn't meant to be right now." Once his message is said, she waits for the tone and draws a breath to speak.
"Liam, this is Kat. I'm not sure if you remember me, we met on the square and you showed me a few sights. And you stopped into Beautiful Agony's when I was there, though I doubt you saw me. Anyway, I've an idea, and I'd like to run it by you. I'm interested in seeing Pergatory, and perhaps setting up a preformance or two. They tell me I used to be pretty good. Call me back if interested. It's almost time for me to turn in, and I apologize if this call disturbed your rest. You know how us fangs can be. Never thinking of the other's sleep patterns." Her Texas drawl soft and a bit of humor in it tonight.
"Anyway, my number is 000-999-5555 Or I guess caller ID or redial would work too." Another smile in the voice. " I look forward to meeting up with you to discuss this at a mutal convinient time. Bye." Click.
She snaps the phone closed, putting it on the charger for the day. Then prepares for the daily death ahead.
- ths morning when liam arose from bed, he climbed out from underneath the blanket, and stepped into an apartment that would probably be best compaired to a refridgerator, because e kept the AC cranked all the time, probablynmade the power company's day to. with a little grumble he picked up his phone, seeing there was a voice mail. and when it was over he said to himself-
she got the luckiest phone number in the history of the phone... I'll call her at sunset-
