-Jane had come home to find a letter sitting on the kitchen table. It was some pretty bubbly script. Not Lili's, that was for sure. Lili's handwriting was a little more girly. This was more like a woman's handwriting. Something about it made Jane pause and stare at the envelope like it was a bomb. It wasn't of course. But Jane felt something in the pit of her stomach. Something turning and aching. It was Lani's handwriting.
Lani, the witch. Lani the aura of light in Jane's life. No matter how many times she had thought back on the past. On Madison her ex-girlfriend from College. Madison, of three years. Madison of long talks and even longer fights. Madison of constant attention and never on time. And yet the woman was so damn sexy. Even when she left Jane that first year of college.
Lani came, and Lani went. Even the time with Silent couldn't change Jane's heart. Oh, she loved Silent. Even now, when she knew Silent's heart belonged to Ash and to New Orleans. Jane loved Silent for all her ways. A love that would last through out life, in the form of friendship.
Lani however. Lani had captured Jane's heart completely. No matter the kisses she had shared with Silent, Lani was a lingering presence in Jane's mind. Now. Now there was a letter on her kitchen table.
Shaky hand moved to pick it up. No address.
The seal was broken and she could feel the magic that was used to seal it. It washed across Jane like fire. The tiger felt bound, whole in that very instant. Lani was her light. She was what made Jane join the daggers in the first place. She was the reason she tied with Milo, and tried to keep her safe.
Her Lani.
Letter was given a once over. It told her everything Jane needed to hear. Needed to have said. She would leave Salem. Find Lani, and get back some of her lost pride. Anywhere had to be better than here. Hell, Gabby was here.
So a note was scribbled to Lili, telling the youngest what the woman was going to do. Leave Salem. It was better than death or being Gabby's chew toy. Clothing was packed and she would grab the keys to her Boulevard. Money, cards, and a leather jacket.
She was leaving.-
"Dear Lili,
I'm going to find Lani.
She was my everything.
You know when I say it I mean it.
Tell Ash I'll miss him.
Tell Silent I love her, and I'll send her a letter when I can.
The house is paid up till next month. I'll send more money then.
Love You,
Janey"

The petite sized Bradshaw came home laughing her little heart out. This night was rather fun. After work the bottled brunette snuck away to the Bronze Cauldron where she ran into Sirus and one gorgeous wolf by the name of Lyric. This Lyric woman was obviously upset (well, not really; Lili's an empath of sorts with a wonderful understanding of emotions) and so Lili cheered her up with a hug. It was nice to see her smile. However, shortly after being hit on and being scolded by Silent Lillian decided to head on home and tell the wonderful tales of the night's events to her favorite sister. However, when the femme reached home and shouted her sister's name... there was no response. When the woman listened for a moment, not only with her ears but her heart, she felt it. The warm, electrical presence of her sister was no longer there. And it wasn't as if the tiger would be coming back. No, her Tigger was gone for sure. It was one of those deep instincts that close siblings share. Lili's heart sank to the floor. The poor girl wandered through the home looking for any sort of note or letter or ... there it was. In her sister's neat and curvy writing were the words that would shatter her world. The letter was received with a mixture of emotions. A giant stew of joy and ecstasy and pain and tears. Jane was going to go find Lani and she was happy for her; Lord knows Jane was only really happy with Lani. But, her sister. The rock in her life. The only one she could really trust. Was gone. The normally bubbly little Bradshaw suddenly felt so very alone in the world. There would be no warmth in her bed when the nights got cold or when there was a scary dream plaguing her pretty little head. No. Lillian was by herself. It was a pain she had not felt since the death of her grandmother. The sadness turned itself into rage and in one bout of passion the young thing let out a guttural sound that was so heart wrenching to the ear. And in that same breath the small thing dropped to the floor with the letter still gripped betwixt small fingers. Lili would lay there, softly sobbing until she fell asleep. And when she awoke it was daylight. Another day. It burned her deep to know that her sister would not be there when she needed her the most, but at least she was going to be happy... So, why was Lili so desperately sad?
