The steady fall of rain soothed him as he over looked the city. Dark blue eyes captivated by rain drenched town he lived in. A black umbrella hovered just over his head, held in place by his own power. It was raining a good deal, so the square wasn't swarming with people, and even the few passers by couldn't tell from the wet curtain that the rain formed in the dim evening air. A smile played across his face as he once again looked down into the paper in his hand, several ads circled in bold red marker. While he had grown to love his city in the short time he had lived there, there wasn't a place for him to call his own truly. He had mostly found shelter in the homes of other people, and the cot in the clinic. The clinic. He hadn't been there in a few days, it was Jessica's place, and for that he couldn't stand to be there. Every time he neared it his mind and heart swelled with thoughts and longings he knew would never happen and thus only hurt all the more. Shaking his head clear of the thoughts his flickered through a few more ads, his dark brown hair falling into his face as he read, swept back with his hand to be tucked behind his ear. "Stick style Victorian." His eyes lingered on this ad, knowing he had already made his choice the moment he saw the picture. Glancing down at the asking price he sucked in a breath and shuddered. "Well, there's a hit to the pockets." He said with a groan looking at the six digit price, shaking his head he found his resolve again. He needed a place and it called to him, ripping out the ad he shoved into his coat pocket and tossed the paper into a trashcan. Winking at his umbrella it moved and folded itself, leaving him free to look into the night air and let the rain over come him. Sighing contently he just watched the heavens.
